Graphic designer working across 3D, motion and brand.

Sophie Lake is a graphic designer specialising in 3D and motion, creating work across still and moving image. A first-class graduate of Kingston University’s Graphic Design programme, she works across brand films, adverts, projection mapping, product visualisation and packaging imagery.
Having studied graphic design from GCSE through to university, creativity has long been part of her everyday life. Growing up, she spent her time editing videos, recreating scenes from films with her brother, designing concept posters in Photoshop and experimenting with digital tools purely for fun. That curiosity naturally evolved into the practice she has today.
Influenced by gaming, cinema and visual storytelling, Sophie creates tactile, atmosphere-driven work that blends cinematic imagery with material-led design. Her process moves between 3D and 2D, combining art direction, modelling, animation, compositing and video editing to build images that feel immersive, considered and slightly unexpected.
Alongside commissioned work, she enjoys developing collaborative and self-initiated projects with friends and creatives across the industry. She values collaboration as a central part of the creative process and maintains an ongoing relationship with Maxon while continuing to explore new approaches to motion and visual experimentation.
